Give Amabrik access to your Lovable project
The easiest path is pasting one line into Lovable's chat yourself. If you'd rather not, share your Lovable project with Amabrik, then remove access after.
For Lovable, the quickest route is almost always to do it yourself, because the whole install is one chat message. You don’t need to know any code. But if you’d rather Amabrik add it for you, Lovable lets you invite a collaborator to your project for free, and you can remove that access the moment we’re done.
The easiest path: paste one line yourself
Lovable can edit its own code from a chat message, so adding Amabrik is a single prompt. Open your project, paste this into the chat, and accept the change Lovable shows you. Replace YOUR_SITE_ID with your real site ID from the Amabrik dashboard first:
Add this exact script tag to the <head> of index.html so it loads on every page, and do not change anything else: <script async src="https://cdn.amabrik.com/v1/loader.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID"></script>
Then publish your project. The install article walks through this with screenshots-level detail and how to confirm it’s live. Most people finish in under a minute and never have to share access at all.
If you’d rather Amabrik do it: invite us to your project
Lovable supports inviting collaborators, and as of 2026 it’s free on any plan. The safest way to let us in is to invite the Amabrik email to your project (or workspace) with an Editor role, which can edit code and publish. That’s much safer than sharing your login, and you can remove the access as soon as the install is done.
Have the email address Amabrik gives you ready. You’ll see it confirmed on screen when you submit the Request Installation form. Don’t guess it. Use the exact one we show you.
Share a single project
- Open the project in Lovable.
- Click Share in the project editor.
- Enter the exact email address Amabrik gave you.
- Choose the Editor role, so we can edit the code and publish. (Viewer is read-only and can’t do the install.)
- Send the invite.
Or share your whole workspace
If you’d rather manage it at the workspace level:
- Open Settings for your workspace.
- Go to the People tab.
- Add the exact Amabrik email with an Editor role.
- Send the invite.
We’ll accept the invite, add the Amabrik snippet to the <head> of index.html, publish, and confirm with you when it’s live.
A note on credits: a collaborator’s edits draw from the project owner’s credit allowance, not their own. The single chat-prompt install uses very little, but it’s worth knowing.
Fallback: share through GitHub
If you’ve connected your project to GitHub and prefer to keep collaboration there, you can invite the Amabrik email as a collaborator on that repository instead, let us add the snippet to index.html, and then you publish (or your connected host deploys it). Remove our GitHub access once the change is merged.
We don’t recommend sharing your Lovable login. Inviting a collaborator (in Lovable or on GitHub) means you never hand over a password and you control exactly what we can touch.
Remove access after the install
Once Amabrik confirms the snippet is live, take the access back:
- Project share: open Share on the project, find the Amabrik email, and remove it.
- Workspace: open Settings, People, find the Amabrik email, and remove it.
- GitHub fallback: remove our email from the repository’s collaborators.
The snippet stays in place. Removing our access does not remove the install, and you keep managing every widget from your own Amabrik dashboard.
FAQ
Should I just do it myself?
For Lovable, usually yes. The install is one chat message and needs no coding. Sharing access only makes sense if you’d rather we handle it.
Can I invite Amabrik for free?
Yes. Lovable collaboration is free on any plan. You invite by email from the project’s Share button or from Settings, People for the workspace.
What email do I invite?
The exact one Amabrik shows you when you submit the Request Installation form. Don’t use any other address. If you’re unsure, submit the form again to see it confirmed.
Which role should I give Amabrik?
Editor, so we can edit the code and publish. Viewer is read-only and can’t do the install.
Is sharing my login okay instead?
It works, but it’s less safe. Inviting a collaborator means you never share a password and you control what we can do. If you ever do share a login, change the password right after we confirm the install.
Do I have to leave the access in place?
No. Remove our collaborator as soon as the install is confirmed. The snippet keeps working, and you manage your widgets from the Amabrik dashboard.
