Give Amabrik access to your Bolt project
The easiest path is to paste the one line yourself. Or share your Bolt project so Amabrik can add the snippet for you, then remove access after.
Adding Amabrik to a Bolt app is a one-line change, so the easiest path by far is to do it yourself. If you’d still rather have Amabrik do it, you can share your Bolt project with us. Both routes are below.
Easiest: paste the one line yourself
You don’t need to give anyone access. In your Bolt project, open the chat and paste this prompt, with YOUR_SITE_ID replaced by the value from your Amabrik snippet:
Add this exact script tag to the <head> of index.html so it loads on every page, and change nothing else: <script async src="https://cdn.amabrik.com/v1/loader.js" data-site="YOUR_SITE_ID"></script>
Then publish your app. The install article walks through this and the manual edit, plus how to test it. This takes a minute and keeps your project entirely under your own login.
If you want Amabrik to do it
If you’d rather hand it off, you can give Amabrik access to your Bolt project. Use the email address Amabrik gives you when you submit the Request Installation form. You’ll see it confirmed on screen. Don’t guess it. Use the exact one we show you.
Option 1: share the project with the Amabrik email
Bolt is made by StackBlitz, and projects can be shared with other accounts. If your plan offers project or team sharing (team collaboration and shared projects are available on Bolt’s Teams plan), invite the exact email Amabrik gave you as a collaborator on the one project, with edit access. We’ll accept, add the snippet to index.html, publish, and confirm with you when it’s live.
Option 2: send us the project link
If your setup doesn’t have a native collaborator invite, send Amabrik the link to your Bolt project (and make sure that link allows editing, not view-only). We’ll open it, add the snippet to the <head> of index.html, publish, and confirm when it’s live.
Option 3: temporary access
If neither of the above works for you, you can give Amabrik temporary sign-in access to an account that can edit and publish the project. If you do this, tell us as soon as we confirm the install so you can change that password right away. Sharing the project or a link is safer, since you never hand over a password. Use the temporary login only if the other options aren’t workable.
Remove access after the install
Once Amabrik confirms the snippet is live, take the access back:
- If you shared the project, remove the Amabrik email from the project’s collaborators (in the project’s share or members settings).
- If you sent a link, change the share setting back so the link no longer allows editing.
- If you used the temporary login, change that password now.
The snippet stays in place either way. Removing our access does not remove the install, and you keep managing every widget from your own Amabrik dashboard.
FAQ
Isn’t it easier to just paste the line myself?
Yes. It’s one line in index.html, and the install article gives you a ready-to-paste prompt. Sharing is only there if you’d prefer to hand it off.
What email do I share the project with?
The exact one Amabrik shows you when you submit the Request Installation form. Don’t use any other address. If you’re unsure, submit the form again to see it confirmed.
Can I share just one project, not my whole account?
Yes. Share the single project (or send a link to that one project), not your account login. That keeps our access limited to the one app.
Is sharing my login okay instead?
It works, but it’s less safe. Sharing the project or a link means you never hand over a password. If you do share a login, change the password right after we confirm the install.
Do I have to leave the access in place?
No. Remove our collaborator access (or change the shared password) as soon as the install is confirmed. The snippet keeps working, and you manage your widgets from the Amabrik dashboard.
